As part of our continued growth in Ivory Coast, we are looking for a General Assistant to join our team in Abidjan.
Your Mission
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide administrative and operational support to the local organization and contribute to the efficient execution of daily business activities. You will be responsible for document management, procurement support, supplier coordination, and general administrative duties.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison with local government agencies and administrative authorities.
- Manage and monitor administrative files, visas, passports, and work permits.
- Collect, organize, update, and archive administrative documentation.
- Prepare, track, and control purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Follow up on local and international supplier payments.
- Provide administrative support to Procurement and Supply Chain activities.
- Coordinate interactions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Support the planning and monitoring of operational activities.
- Manage office administration and general services.
- Assist the local team with day-to-day administrative and operational requirements.
You are meant for this job if:
Education
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Taxation, Law, or a related field.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in administration, procurement, accounting, taxation, supply chain, or a similar support function.
- Experience in an international environment is an advantage.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
- High level of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
