The HSE Coordinator supports a safe and compliant work environment at the Service Supercenter by leading health, safety, and environmental efforts.  Responsibilities include conducting inspections, coaching teams, assisting with incident investigations, and maintaining records.  The role also supports environmental projects, safety committees, and regulatory programs, working closely with both local and global HSE teams. Travel is required approximately 35% of the time.

 

Job Description

  • Support Heath, Safety and Environmental (HSE) improvement and compliance including field and workshop inspections, HSE audits and participation in improvement projects at the Service Supercenter
  • Support the company’s HSE global initiatives as well as local site management
  • Perform field and workshop HSE inspections for HSE compliance with internal and external compliance
  • Provide intervention when at-risk activities are observed
  • Train, monitor and coach team members to ensure adherence to HSE principles, policies and standards
  • Provide support for incident and near miss investigations, problem resolution, and appropriate feedback (positive and corrective) within the teams and sites
  • Assist with Worker’s Compensation cases
  • Support Safety Committees
  • Support all HSE recordkeeping and other administrative activities
  • Assist in environmental compliance and projects
  • Support federal and state mandated employee safety and health monitoring programs
  • Provide support for other HSE duties or initiatives as needed
  • Attend customer HSE related trainings and meetings
  • Report findings and project status to site management
  • Domestic travel required 35% of the time.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Employer will accept 5 years of experience in the job offered or in an HSE Coordinator-related occupation.
  • Experience with equipment operations in high pressure environments (> 20,000 PSI), as well as installation of seals and inspection of sealing surfaces.
  • Experience with risk management tools to identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace operating the eHRA system.
  • Experience with developing safety statistics such as leading and lagging indicators from Intelex and powerbi.
  • Experience with case management and proper reporting with governing bodies using Intelex, Worker’s compensation and XtremeMD.
  • Experience with safety program development and execution.
  • Experience with identifying potential hazards and implementing changes to limit exposure of workers and logging these inspections in Intelex.
  • Experience with high-pressure hydraulic systems.
