Job Purpose

Work under limited supervision and follows written and/or verbal instructions for routine task and assembly of product line-specific parts. Ability to use and set up technical tools and instruments required to perform product line duties. Responsible and accountable for set up documentation, and log sheets. General understanding and application of basic Lean Methodology

Job Description

  • Effectively retrieve, understand, and adhere to QAP documentation.
  • Demonstrates basic problem-solving skills.
  • Perform proper rigging techniques where applicable.
  • Properly completes required documentation.
  • Keep a clean workstation, understand and be able to train on 5-S principles

You are meant for this job if:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Generally, 3 or more years in FMCTI assembly, high pressure hydro test and paint
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to assemble and disassemble with no supervision.
  • Ability to train entry level assemblers grade 9.2 and below.
  • Ability to perform autonomous maintenance on assembly and test equipment
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of part reports an TFMC assembly requirements.
  • Good organization, interpersonal, and interaction skills
  • Demonstrates basic problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of diagnosing, performing, and solving problematic builds and high-pressure hydro test.
  • Be forklift certified, where applicable
  • Certified on electric pallet jacks, where applicable.
  • Ability to lead in a team environment
  • Ability to paint parts to spec, when required.

Wokr Environment:

Spends 95% of the time in a manufacturing/shop environment and 5% in an office environment. Will be exposed to possible hazards including working with high-pressure equipment, working in limited spaces, high noise, inclement weather, chemicals, pressure testing, heavy lift operations and shop/field traffic.

Physical Demands:

Frequent walking, climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing upward, crawling in limited workspaces, and repetitive lifting of components up to 50 lbs.
