Job Purpose

Work under limited supervision and follows written and/or verbal instructions for routine tasks. Responsible for basic knowledge in stamping requirements. Basic understanding in high pressure hydro testing. Assemble and disassemble product line product. Basic understanding on the part reports, relevant QAP’s Q Specs, SOP’s and customer specifications. Basic knowledge of how to set up stamping and banding equipment.

Job Description

  • Effectively retrieve, understand and adhere to QAP documentation.
  • Possess and demonstrate basic problem-solving skills.
  • Read and interpret assembly and test specifications and paint.
  • Ability to demonstrate fixturing and rigging.
  • Keep a clean workstation/ learning 5-S attributes.
  • Most work is not subject to direct check.

You are meant for this job if:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Generally, one year of assembly required.
  • Self-motivated
  • Good organization, interpersonal, and interaction skills
  • Acceptable Attendance
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  Majority of time spent in climate controlled shop environment. Exposure to high noise, machinery and possible hazards when performing tasks in manufacturing areas of the plant.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Position requires bending, stooping, and repetitive lifting of components up to 50lbs
