Join our dynamic and multicultural team in Stavanger, Norway,  at our MPM office  as a Supplier Quality Engineer. This role offers you the opportunity to leverage your skills, drive supplier quality improvements, and collaborate with industry leaders.

Job Description

  • Manage and monitor the safety, quality, and delivery performance of assigned MPM (Multi -Phase Meter) suppliers through metrics and KPIs, taking timely mitigation and preventive actions.
  • Develop suppliers through a commitment to continuous improvement, empowerment, and data-driven management.
  • Engage in high levels of personal interaction to challenge and improve current practices at suppliers and internally.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of product requirements and communicate quality requirements and initiatives.
  • Recognize the impact of decisions on product quality.
  • Support and conduct supplier qualification activities (if approved as Lead Auditor).
  • Support and train suppliers on all TechnipFMC processes.
  • Conduct some inspections based on interventions on the part report/ITP.
  • Collaborate globally with other regions on assigned suppliers as needed.

You are meant for this job if:

  • BS or MS in engineering/technical with a background in Mechanical Engineering Or equivalent job experience.
  • Understanding of different manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Fundamental understanding of foundational quality principles.
  • Strong people skills, presentation skills, and the ability to train.
  • Ability to manage the control of non-conformances, including follow-up with suppliers to obtain Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA).
  • Understanding of problem-solving methodologies and their application.
  • Knowledge of interactions between industry/regulatory standards and customer requirements.
  • Preferred but not required: Understanding of audit processes and best practices, both as an auditor and auditee, related to ISO 9001/API Q1, ISO 45001.
