We are looking for a Project Controller!

In your role as a Project Controller you will be responsible for managing the financial performance of medium and large projects, typically executed as POC. This includes ensuring accurate sales recognition, margin performance, and project cash flow. You will develop and maintain project budgets based on tender input, and produce reliable forecasts, including EAC. In addition, you will monitor project costs and prepare all required financial reports to support informed decision‑making.

Job Description

  • Ensure correct sales, margin and cash in project.
  • Work out and update budget based on tender input and variations
  • Work out reliable forecasts incl EAC with required documentation and report changes
  • Support handling of financial risk in project and populate CSA
  • Securing currency risk and follow up hedging
  • Responsible for Invoicing and support good working capital in project. Work out invoicing plan and cash forecast. Follow up invoice basis, issue invoices and monitor payments
  • Follow up cost and accruals in project, Control of HW, Hours, OC cost and accruals
  • Contribute to work with Variations
  • Work out financial reports, analyze results and give updates on deviations. Support eventual audits.
  • Ensure compliance with financial processes and standards incl. internal controls and SOX requirements

 

You are meant for this job if:

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance
  • You have 4–7 years of experience in finance or project controlling 
  • You’re familiar with ERP systems 
  • You communicate clearly and collaborate well with others 
  • You’re fluent in English 
  • You work effectively both independently and in a team 
  • You have strong analytical skills 
  • You understand accounting principles and standards 
  • You can solve complex problems 
  • You present financial information confidently in management reviews 
  • You can influence project teams to meet financial goals
