Job Purpose
The Planning & Asset Manager serves as a pivotal force in ensuring operational excellence through strategic planning
and optimal use of coordinators and assets. This role transforms operational strategies into seamless execution by
ensuring that resources, workflows, and asset utilization are aligned with organizational goals.
Job Description
- Responsible for ensuring that all assigned work tasks are performed in accordance with TechnipFMC policies and HSEQ requirements such as Duty of Care.
- Line Manager for the Service coordinators and Asset coordinators.
- Responsible for optimized use of the department resources based on the operational activity
- Responsible to update and maintain a resource forecast plan based on operational activity
- Responsible to support Service Manger in Asset acquisition needs and reporting. (capex mangement).
- Responsible to continously monitor planning progress and report status in various OBEYA forums.
- Responsible to lead L3 OBEYA for Planning and Assets focusing on KPIs/KSFs Leadershipstandard and problemsolving.
- Empowered and obliged to communicate potential risks to Service Manager.
- Responsible for active contribution towards the Surface Norways objectives.
- Actively promote and work in accordance with TechnipFMC’s core values.
- Lead by example, actively promote, and contribute to, a positive working environment within your team and towards your colleagues within other departments.
- Develop and continuously improve local department processes and procedures in line with the GBPMS.
- Further develop the department and the roles within your team to support the planning processes and build the team of which is both robust and scalable in line with the organizational growth
- Drive standardization of all SAP related transactions related to planning execution (ex. Service Orders and DN) within the Surface organization
- Perform regularly checkins with all members of the team.
- Define and develop the objectives together with the Service Manager and the team in accordance with the Surface Norway objectives.
- Ensure that all documents and templates utilized for planning are in accordance with the GBPMS or revision controlled SOP’s.
- Approve hours for all team resources
You are meant for this job if:
- Minimum 3 years university degree in oil and gas business, engineering or similar. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
- Minimum 3 years technical experience or background from technical onshore/offshore planning
- Familiar with Microsoft PC programs (Word, Excel, Power point, MS project etc.)
- Good experience with SAP
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, other department personnel and customers.
- Good Norwegian language skills, written as well as verbal.
- Pro-active, self-dependent, service minded
- Team player with good communication skills
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and respond appropriately.
