Job Purpose

Electronics Engineer
MPM is a division of TechnipFMC based in Stavanger. We are world leading within our business segment and have an organization of enthusiastic and skilled people, covering a wide variety of disciplines. MPM makes the most sophisticated and accurate multiphase flow meters for the oil and gas industry. MPM’s unique and patented technology and products have been developed in close co-operation with major Oil Companies. 
For our Technology department we are currently looking for an Electronics Engineer.
 

Job Description

 

  • Establish requirement specification for multiphase meter electronics system
  • Cooperate with our electronics supplier in design of next generation electronics
  • Follow up and coordination of development projects
  • Technical contact towards electronics suppliers
  • Provide Electronics support internally to other departments
  • Develop and improve electronics production testing
  • Collaborate with our field engineers (second line support)
  • Electronics troubleshooting and RCA investigation
     

You are meant for this job if:

Required:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree within electronics
  • Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English (oral and written).
  • A creative mindset and the ability to be self-driven in working with development tasks and problem solving. 

Preferred:

  • Fluent in Norwegian
  • 5 year Experience from electronics design/specification
  • Skilled within RF electronics
