Job Purpose

  • Secure end‑to‑end procurement of valves and related services for complex projects.
  • Act as the single commercial contact for suppliers, ensuring compliance and competitive conditions.
  • Prioritize safety, quality, delivery, and cost in all decisions.

Job Description

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Lead RFQs, negotiate terms (including PTC), and award purchase orders.
  • Manage orders through full lifecycle: expediting, logistics, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate ERP data and communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Project Procurement Manager, Category teams, Supplier Quality, and Logistics.
  • Monitor KPIs, perform root‑cause analysis, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Support and coach less experienced buyers.

Your Profile

 

  • 10–15 years’ experience in procurement, materials management, or planning.
  • Degree in engineering, finance, or business (or equivalent experience).
  • Fluent in English; strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Lean practices.
  • Ability to manage high‑value, complex orders independently.
  • Customer‑focused, proactive, and organized with strong problem‑solving skills.
