Job Purpose

As Workshop Manager you are responsible for the successful functioning of the workshop process. The goal of the role is to ensure that equipment, that will be passed through the workshop is being repaired and/or remanufactured according to the applicable standards. You make sure that the assigned orders are properly planned and carried out to the quality and standards as set by the industry and/or company in a timely manner in the most efficient way, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment and ensuring an outstanding level of service is provided in all your dealings with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders.

Job Description

Prepare quotations for Maintenance, Modification and Repair (MMR) work
Manage workshop and warehouse facility, tools, equipment, machinery and staff
Support the service department with costing info
Follow the performance of the department by defining KPI’s
Create work packages for the workshop
Monitor and manage the departments cost center budget
Manage AFE (Authorization for Expense) for departments investments
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedure, rules and regulations
Create NCR/FNCR’s when necessary, improve on the awareness of detecting errors
Fully comply with TechnipFMC’s health and safety requirements, including reporting all incidents and hazards
Continuous optimization of the workshop process on quality, safety, professionalism, efficiency
Define and execute improvement projects for your department
Execute regular Toolbox Meetings
Participate in the “duty program” of the company (after office hours on a rotational basis, as per schedule)

You are meant for this job if:

Mechanical Engineering MBO+/HBO (preferred, but not obligatory depending on experience). 
Minimal 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry (preferred) for knowledge of products and standards/regulations
(Project) management experience
Strong English language skills 
Office 365  experience
ERP knowledge (SAP is preferred)
