Job Purpose

As a Field Service Technician, you are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of the various TechnipFMC wellhead related equipment. You will work, onshore and offshore, but also at our base in Nieuw-Amsterdam/Veenoord when support is required in our workshop.

Job Description

  • Work independently or in a team on installing (new) products, conduct repairs and maintenance of equipment.
  • Makes decisions to determine action that is consistent with policies & general procedures.
  • Assures all equipment, service tooling & spare parts are on location, ready to use and fit for function prior the start of each job. Ensures assembly will work and assists with the review of product running procedures.
  • Ensure that field service reports are filled in with all required information.
  • Provides “Project Support” for (new) projects which includes attending design reviews for equipment & tools, reviewing installation procedures, assisting with project Factory Acceptance Tests, and reviewing project training requirements for service personnel.
  • Communicates on a high level with Company Representative regarding a.o. job procedures, spare parts requirements, critical dimension measurements, safety.
  • Provides “Sales Support” by keeping the customer fully informed on all aspects of the job and handling customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Understands and follows all TechnipFMC and customer safety requirements. Proactively pursues safe work practices and participates in safety training.
  • Reports to the Service (Project) Manager daily and informs the Service (Project) Manager in case business critical decisions must be made.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Have a technical education (MBO), or equivalent by experience.
  • Know how to work with MS office (365).
  • Have strong technical understanding and mechanical work experience.
  • Can read and understand relevant procedures and perform work accordingly.
  • Are stress resistant and a proactive problem solver with a systematic and innovative approach.
  • Are responsible and reliable, and you focus on quality and HSE.
  • Are an excellent communicator and listener. You communicate your ideas clear and concise, with quickly grasping the essence. You can handle difficult questions, are able to persuade, influence and facilitate problem resolutions.
  • Have strong Dutch & English language skills, German language skills are sufficient.
  • Are flexible in terms of working times/periods, locations/countries and willing and able to travel abroad for work and or training. You can reach our office within an hour.
