EPCI WELDING AND MATERIALS SPECIALIST

Job Purpose
Support the Operations department, within the Welding and Materials team, in technical and operational matters related to metallurgy, welding, non-destructive testing, linepipe, subsea equipment, structures, coating, painting, forgings, and pipeline systems during the proposal and project execution phases, ensuring the best solutions in accordance with international standards, client requirements, and TechnipFMC procedures.
Job Description
- Develop Standard Work Instructions and assist in resolving Quality Notifications (QNs);
- Coordination and fieldwork in manufacturing, welding, NDT, coating, repairs, and maintenance of subsea equipment;
- Writes and issues technical specifications, operational procedures, and reports related to own activities;
- Supervision and technical visits to external suppliers;
- Conduct and participate in technical meetings among projects, internal/external clients, and operational teams;
- Monitoring of qualifications (WPQT/WQT/PQT/PPT);
- Preparation of material and service requisitions, as well as analysis of supplier proposals;
- Support in planning daily activities and forecasting tools and resources needed for task completion;
- Personnel and equipment control for financial measurement with suppliers;
- Availability to travel when required.
You are meant for this job if:
- Degree in Engineering with an active CREA (Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy) registration.
- Experience in EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) projects, and in the fabrication and testing of subsea equipment such as Rigid Jumpers, will be considered a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools and Power BI
- Advanced English.
