Job Purpose

We are seeking the sharpest minds to take our world-class Subsea Production Control System technology even further. To meet new challenges and opportunities we are seeking a determined and motivated TestOps Engineer to join our SW team in Controls and Automation.

In your job you will be responsible to implement Test Automation practices across SW Team, establish Quality Standards, define and implement Quality strategy and Quality gates, including KPIs monitoring.

Job Description

  • Prepare and document test activities (including Test Cases, Test Plan and Test Reports preparation) using Test Management Tool - XRay- 
  • Define test data/configuration sets ; Configure test environment software, hardware and virtualization
  • Tailor Test cases according to project requirements and specifications; Adapt, develop and execute automated test scripts (Data Driven Development)
  • Develop and maintain mocks and stubs on Software, Hardware and virtual environments levels
  • Cooperation with developers and project Quality Engineers
  • Troubleshoot problem, isolate and track defects 
  • Automated Test scripts integration with DevOps Engineers on CI/CD
  • Maintain data sets and configuration
  • Participate in the requirements analysis and definition of the test specifications at project level
  • Location: Tech Center - Ilha do Fundão -Rio de Janeiro

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor’s degree - Engineering.
  • CREA
  • Fluent English (global team)
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with testing tools for web application such as Playwright or Cypress
  • Experience with Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with Test Management Tool - X-Ray
  • Experience working in cross-functional team using Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
  • Exposure to the principals of Industrial Protocols, Platforms and APIs:  OPC UA, Profibus, Modbus (RTU, TCP).
  • Very good understanding of QA best practices (including test scenario management and reporting tools).
  • Understanding of Hardware In the Loop (HIL), Software In the Loop (SIL)
  • Exposure to Configuration Management tools (Version control, bug tracking, change management, automated builds, and coding standards)
  • Basic knowledge of Monitoring and Observability tools is a plus;
