Job Description

  • Responsible for executing controls engineering in projects, defining and ensuring functional requirements to be delivered in the same.
  • Review and approval of equipment specifications for electrical, optical, hydraulic control systems, as well as subsea distribution systems.
  • Review and approval of assembly and test documentation for the aforementioned equipment.
  • Review and approval of qualification documentation for the aforementioned equipment.
  • Participation in Design Review meetings, ensuring that the Client's requirements and quality/good practices are met.
  • Approval of electrical/optical/hydraulic schematics for systems and subsystems.
  • Management of project activities as well as creation of sub-activities.
  • Constant interface with the Client in follow-up meetings, as well as presentation of deliverable documents for the Client.
  • Ensuring the correct interface of control system equipment both with each other and with other equipment, for example in the Christmas tree and manifolds.
  • Support for future project proposals.
  • Support for planning, procurement, project management, industrial engineering and quality groups.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Control and Automation and related fields.
  • Differential: Postgraduate degree in Petroleum Engineering, Subsea Production Systems, Control and Automation.
  • Knowledge of subsea production systems, preferably control systems.
  • Knowledge of international standards related to subsea control systems (API7F, API6A, etc.)
  • Knowledge of risk matrix and risk assessment capabilities.
  • Advantage: Having worked in the oil and gas sector, with experience with different scopes within control systems in a subsea project (e.g. control and automation cabin, HPU, electrical and hydraulic distribution systems, subsea controller, etc.).
  • Advanced English.
  • Intermediate Office package
