Job Purpose

Responsible for Processes, Methods, and Tools activities supporting Product Development.

Job Description

  • Participate in incident investigations to support scope analyses across all TFMC test centers;
  • Lead and support gemba walks, audits, inspections, and safety visits at the test centers;
  • Identify opportunities for preventive safety actions (SIFPs);
  • Lead or support standardization, simplification, and industrialization (SSI) initiatives;
  • Conduct or facilitate Lean initiatives (A3, VSM, Obeya) and collective digital collaboration tools (MIRO);
  • Contribute to the implementation and analysis of digital systems for test centers and laboratories;
  • Execute strategic actions in managing external testing service providers;
  • Participate in strategic CAPEX analyses and technical/financial feasibility studies;
  • Process data and monitor action plans.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Degree in Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical/Automation, Metallurgical, Industrial, or Petroleum
  • CREA
  • Advanced English
  • Experience in engineering within the Oil & Gas industry, in operations, handling, and/or testing of Subsea Production Systems (SPS);
  • Knowledge of LEAN methodology;
  • Participation in continuous improvement, standardization, and process‑simplification projects;
  • Management of efficiency KPIs and operational metrics;
  • Participation in incident investigations, audits, and development of preventive action plans in the areas of safety and quality.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Experience using Lean tools: A3, VSM, Obeya;
  • Availability for international travel
     
    Desired knowledge and experience
    • Experience in at least one other product line within the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy industries, such as flexible pipes and umbilicals, power cables, surface equipment, or rigid pipes;
    • Experience working in R&D environments, product and/or material qualification projects;
    • Experience in technical/financial feasibility analysis of asset investment (CAPEX)
    • Skills with Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint, and digital collaboration tools (MIRO)
