Job Purpose

Responsible for Process/Methods/Tools activities related to Product Development

Job Description

  • Responsible for process control scope and deliverables in internal and external technical projects and studies in different phases, such as concept, FEED, and detailed engineering project phase.
  • Follow-up dynamic analysis in HYSYS analyzing different controllers' performance.
  • Be responsible for and participate in equipment tests such as FAT and product qualification both internal and at supplier site. Lead system testing and play a key role in offshore system commissioning.
  • Participate in local and global projects responsible for definitions of process control and control system scope.
  • Location: Tech Center - Ilha do Fundão - RJ

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering 
  • CREA
  • Advanced English
  • Theoretical and hands-on experience with the definition, development and implementation of process control loops.
  • Experience with different process equipment, instruments and communication protocols. 
  • Knowledge within subsea or topside process systems is an advantage; subsea experience preferred.
  • Experience in pump control as a minimum, flow, speed and pressure controllers of pumps using VSD.
  • Offshore field experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in working relations between Process Control and other interfaceing systems such as flow assurance.
  • Experience in running and leading simulation work is preferred. 
  • Experience of how automation software is programed and operates within the process system.
  • Ability to analyse the process system to localize system failures or potential improvements is beneficial. 
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with HySyS or other process software is an advantage. 
  • Working at test sites or offshore for shorter or longer periods is to be expected.
