Job Purpose

Responsible for the supply and preparation of machines, defining forms, providing devices and accessories, assisting operators, also assembles, sharpens, prepares, calibrates tools and operates conventional machines aimed at machining parts of diverse complexity, according to the drawing and using suitable cutting tools and measuring instruments, in order to make quality parts in the shortest possible time.

Job Description

  • Provide, control, ensure and use, when necessary, the fixing devices, accessories for assembly of the parts in machine tools, supports, and their peripherals according to assembly plans and using properly the planes of movement.
  • Prepare the assembly of the part in advance, in appropriate devices and accessories or to be preheated, aiming to increase production and decrease the non-productive time of the Factory
  • Control the storage of the fixing devices, accessories for assembly of the parts in machine,  tools, supports and their peripherals through the computerized system collecting and storing them in a suitable place after their use
  • Implement improvement, assist programmers and other operators when necessary, seeking the integration of processes to contribute to reducing manufacturing time; 
  • Machining parts of diversified complexity according to specifications, using conventional machines such as lathes, boring machines, milling machines and the like;
  • Perform measurement, basic adjustment, reading and interpretation of drawing, based on the knowledge of tools, program reading and documentation necessary to the process.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Ability to operate machines and tools, as well as precision measuring tools;
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and mechanical drawings;
  • Computer experience, knowledge of cutting tools assembly;
  • Look at the details and a results-oriented approach.
