  • Act as one of the onboard leaders and focal point for the rest of the team, having responsibility over tower operators and other positions.

  • OFFSHORE POSITION

 

  • Program, configure, and test the operation of systems in virtual and field environments.
  • Perform diagnostics, changes, and improvements in PLC software, preferably Siemens S7 and Schneider, using ladder programming language.
  • Specify, design, implement, and modify objects in HMI software and supervisory systems.
  • Configure industrial networks.
  • Prepare technical documentation related to automation.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
  • Manage instrumentation equipment and calibration/certification processes.
  • Conduct training for technical/operational teams.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Complete degree in Control and Automation Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, and Software; with an emphasis on industrial automation.
  • Active CREA.
  • Intermediate/Advanced English.
  • Office Package.
  • AutoCAD.
  • Specific Industrial Programming Language (Schneider PLC, LADDER, DCS, Supervisory Systems, and Specialist Systems).
  • Basic knowledge of industrial plant operations and interlocks.
  • Knowledge of electrical equipment.
  • Knowledge of measurement and control instruments for industrial processes.
  • Knowledge of Control System Hardware (PLC, Electrical Panels, and others).
  • Knowledge of communication networks, industrial field equipment, and instruments (Modbus, DNP3, RS-485, RS-232, and others).
  • Knowledge of computer networks and operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware.
