Job Description

  • Specification of electrical and optical control system equipment, as well as subsea distribution systems.
  • Creation of assembly and testing documentation for the aforementioned equipment.
  • Creation, if necessary, of qualification documentation for the aforementioned equipment, as well as approval of the qualification.
  • Creation of Transportation, Handling, Maintenance and Preservation documentation for the aforementioned equipment.
  • Organization of Design Review meetings and implementation of comments for the aforementioned equipment.
  • Monitoring and approval of 3D models and details of subsea electrical and optical distribution equipment, as well as creation of their general arrangement.
  • Definition of electrical/optical schematics for systems and subsystems.
  • Management of project activities as well as creation of subactivities.
  • Monitoring the assembly and testing of subsea control equipment in the factory, as well as support for troubleshooting in the factory or offshore.
  • Monitoring the project in meetings with the client, as well as presentation of deliverable documents to the client.
  • Support for future project proposals.
  • Support for Root Cause Analysis (RCAs) related to the scope of work itself and parallel groups if there is a related discipline.
  • Support for planning, procurement, project management, industrial engineering and quality groups.
  • Project monitoring with sub-suppliers.
  • Review of sub-supplier documentation.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Control and Automation Engineering and related fields.
  • Differential: Postgraduate degree in Petroleum Engineering, Subsea Production Systems, Control and Automation Engineering.
  • Advanced english;
  • Knowledge of subsea production systems, preferably control systems.
  • Knowledge of international standards relating to subsea control systems (API17F, API6A, etc.). Knowledge of topside systems (control cabin) and subsea control modules.
  • Knowledge of risk matrix and risk assessment capabilities.
  • Intermediate Office package;
  • Knowledge of Lean methodologies,
  • Mastery of some software for electrical analysis.
