Job Description

  • Coordinate own time to meet objectives and forecast and plan resource requirements; 
  • Coordinate and mentoring engineers and interns
  • Define installation methodologies based on standards, design basis, best practices, focus on safety, and scope of work defined by client; 
  • Identify and recommend scope optimizations and execution plan strategies to the project manager;
  • Elaborate and review clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports, procedures and specifications; 
  • Author and review project specifications, load out plans, method statements, task plans and procedures;
  • Participate on the field layout design;
  • Review the pipeline track on the seabed

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Naval and other Engineering.
  • Microsoft Office package mandatory. Orcaflex and Ansys desirable.
  • Advanced English.
  • Exposure to different clients is highly valued;
  •  Exposure to offshore construction planning and installation operations is necessary;
  • Familiarization and experience with pipelay including S-lay, Reel-Lay, J-Lay operations; umbilical and/or flexible flowline and riser installations; jumper installations; flying lead and control systems installation; subsea structures installations are required;
  • Experience with offshore survey and positioning; ROV operations; post installation testing and commissioning; and reeling operations is highly valued;
  • The ability to travel offshore for project execution is required;
  • Willingness to learn quickly, adapt to change and work under pressure is necessary;
  • Leadership skills.
