Job Purpose

As a HSE Engineer, your mission is to support the company’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department in its daily activities, aiming to ensure the safety and health of workers and preserve the environment in which the company operates. You will assist in fulfilling the commitments established in TechnipFMC’s HSE policy. 

Job Description

Carry out HSE (Health, Occupational Safety, and Environment) activities based on the Group’s corporate policies and rules, as well as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. Responsibilities include: identifying applicable legal requirements and planning for compliance, conducting HSE inspections and audits, issuing technical reports, investigating incidents, promoting HSE tools, and disseminating HSE practices to employees and contractors. Participate in hazard identification and risk assessment with the involved area, proposing control measures to eliminate or minimize hazards; implement improvement projects focused on risk reduction; lead the HSE Technicians team; and maintain constant interface with operational leaders.

Location: Manufacturing Site – Pavuna/RJ

You are meant for this job if:

  • Degree in Engineering with a postgraduate specialization in Occupational Safety
  • Active CREA registration
  • Experience in industrial activities and HSE routines (risk analysis, prevention strategies, data analysis, accident investigation, emergency preparedness, among others), team leadership, and implementation of incident prevention strategies in collaboration with operational leaders
  • Knowledge of HSE legislation, technical standards, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, risk analysis methodologies, and incident investigation
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, accident investigation methodologies, and risk analysis
  • Advanced English
