Job Purpose
Will monitor and ensure the quality of materials, electrical equipment for distribution and transmission lines, and substations, from the homologation phase to the end of the product's life. He/She will approve and follow up on containment, root cause analysis, solution implementation, and effectiveness verification for quality issues of materials/equipment
Job Description
- Conduct quality audits on suppliers to verify compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
- Perform security assessments on suppliers to verify compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
- Oversee technical and security audits conducted by TechnipFMC specialists, as applicable.
- Execute and document processes for the qualification/development of suppliers, products, services, and equipment.
- Provide training to suppliers on specific TechnipFMC tools/processes/disciplines.
- Prepare and/or review technical documents/procedures/specifications, as applicable.
- Approve technical documents/procedures/specifications, as applicable.
- Conduct process and security verifications on suppliers.
- Monitor and/or oversee inspections at suppliers and guide/direct the actions of inspectors.
- Review inspection reports and measurement bulletins from suppliers.
- Monitor the safety and quality performance of suppliers within the respective scope of work.
- Implement containment, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive solutions, and verify effectiveness for quality issues in products, services, and equipment from suppliers.
- Continuously improve processes and production controls with suppliers.
- Implement internal process improvements aligned with departmental goals and objectives.
- Represent the SQ team in interfacing with projects as needed by the business.
- Work Location: Parque Fabril - Pavuna, RJ.
You are meant for this job if:
- Advanced knowledge in Welding, Dimensional, NDT, Machining, and Boiler/Fabrication.
- Manufacturing experience (factory floor experience).
- Experience in the Oil & Gas (O&G) sector.
- Desirable knowledge of assembly and testing of O&G equipment.
- Desirable advanced knowledge in Quality tools (PDCA; 8D; Kaizen A3, PFMEA, Ishikawa Diagram, Pareto Diagram, 5 Whys method) and Lean Philosophy.
- Advanced English
- Degree in Engineering with an active CREA registration
- Availability to travel
- Experience with national and international suppliers.
