Job Purpose

Responsible for transversally supporting the demands of Supply, EPCI, BVP and SPS projects, seeking to identify opportunities for optimization, simplification, standardization and industrialization of IAS activities based on knowledge of the discipline's internal procedures, project and corporate standards classifiers and customer contractual documentation. It plays a role as a knowledge multiplier, both in terms of the history of previous projects and new methodologies to be applied. Focal point for addressing complex challenges identified in projects, for searching for non-conventional solutions that respect TechnipFMC's security requirements and values ​​and for aligning methodologies and lessons learned with the organization's different engineering centers. Occasionally, you can play the lead role in projects in which the discipline is involved.

Job Description

  •  Drawing up and revising the methodologies for the studies carried out for the various internal clients, in accordance with the contractual documentation for the projects and proposals, based on a critical analysis of the documentation provided by the internal and external clients;
  • Analysing the contractual documentation for proposals and projects and identifying opportunities to optimize deliveries to the project/proposal team;
  • Carrying out installation analyses of greater technical challenge and feasibility, using commercial finite element packages, such as OrcaFlex, for example, and tools developed by the area;
  • Carrying out the technical interface with the project areas (Supply, EPCI, BVP and SPS), proposing improvements based on knowledge of installation analysis for the design of equipment, flexible structures and the operations described in the executive procedures;
  • Sharing and disseminating technical knowledge regarding installation analysis standards, such as reports, templates and checklists, to other employees and/or transversal disciplines, including engineering centers that support the Brazil region;
  • Preparing internal training in the installation analysis department, with a view to training the team;
  • Location: Eco Sapucaí - Cidade Nova - Rio de Janeiro

You are meant for this job if:

  • Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Naval Engineering
  • Advanced English
  • Experience in subsea and/or offshore projects;
  • Experience with analysis of the installation of flexible and/or rigid pipelines;
  • Experience with analysis of the installation of subsea equipment;
  • Knowledge of subsea installation procedures;
  • Experience in projects with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of technical standards for subsea installation, finite elements
  • Knowledge of programming language in Python and/or VBA
  • Knowledge of Orcaflex - mandatory
