Job Purpose

The Senior HR Shared Services Manager will lead and oversee the HR Shared Services operations across two countries in our South America region, including the Brazil and Argentina. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless delivery of Payroll & Benefits Administration, Employee Services, Data Management, Reporting, and Talent Acquisition. The focus is to drive operational excellence by adhering to standards and SLAs, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and transformation. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of managing a diverse team and collaborating with HR and business leaders to align HR services with organizational goals. The Senior HR Shared Services Manager will play a critical role in enhancing employee experience, optimizing HR processes, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations across the region. 

Job Description

The Senior HR Shared Services manager will be responsible for:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the HR Shared Services team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and excellent customer service.
  • HR Operations: Oversee HR operations including Payroll & Benefits Administration, Employee Services, Data Management, Reporting, and Talent Acquisition.
  • Process Improvement: Implement HR policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Drive standardization, consolidation, automation, and process improvements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all supported countries.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with HR areas and business leaders to understand their needs and align HR services accordingly.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor HR metrics and use data to drive continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to standards and SLAs.
  • Transformation: Lead the identification, development, and execution of process improvement program initiatives, supporting the global strategic objectives of the Shared Services organization.
  • Employee Experience: Improve Employee overall experience with HR services by focusing our support on self-services with proper standards.
  • Strategic Outsourcing: Keep and improve the support from our Global Business Services team for back office and transactional activities.
  • Technology Integration and Automation: Partner with HRIS to implement HR technology, maintain and enhance current systems.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor/Master in HR related field, or MBA or Bachelor/Master in Technical field having HR related work experience  
  • Solid leadership experience managing direct reports
  • Must be proficient in English
  • Knowledge, skills and experience in HR operations, HR Shared Services, project and system implementations and/or change management in complex organizations. In depth experience with payroll systems and vendors, ServiceNow, and HRIS systems such as Oracle and SuccessFactors.
  • Experience in managing multicultural and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience with process review and mapping.
  • Experience in implementing HR Shared Services and tiered service delivery models.
  • Availability to work in a Hybrid model (4 times a week in the office) and for travelling to other sites and countries.
