Job Description

• Umbilical design following whole product life cycle from tender, project to final delivery;
• Use project management knowledge on day-to-day activities as engineering project lead;
• Work in an international environment exposed to major industry projects;
• Be part of multicultural and interdisciplinary team;
• Opportunity to travel and work offshore eventually.

 

You are meant for this job if:

  • Degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline – preferably Mechanical Engineering;
  • Experience in umbilical engineering and the wider offshore / subsea industry is beneficial
  • Experience in developing lean best practices
  • Experience delivering against challenging schedules in a project management environment
  • Fluent English
  • Proficient in Microsoft office tool such as word, excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with engineering tools such as MathCAD or equivalent (good to have) and Orcaflex
  • Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD and Inventor is not required but beneficial 
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis tools such as Ansys and Abaqus

Additional Skills

  • Experience with submarine inter array dynamic cable 66kV is beneficial and will be considered as differencial.
