Job Purpose
Job Description
- Prepare and review engineering Design Basis, Technical Specifications, Philosophies, In-Place and As-Laid/As-Built Analysis and other documentation as required to support different phases of the project, namely: conceptual, FEED and detailed design of the rigid pipelines scope.
- Produce engineering reports and calculations to support different phases of the project, namely: conceptual, FEED and detailed design analysis.
- Verification and validation of technical reports against international standards, codes, TFMC internal guidelines and best engineering practices.
- Ensure quality of deliverables through systematic verification according to TFMC engineering process.
- Attend and participate in internal meetings, project meetings and client meetings when required.
- Interface with TechnipFMC disciplines as required for the rigid design scope.
- Completes assigned work within the allocated schedule and budget while maintaining company quality and safety standards.
- Ensures assigned work is compliant with corporate standards, client requirements, government regulations and industry standards.
- Ensure designs and analyses are performed in compliance with the established latest design rules and procedures within the Technip Group.
- Ensure technical integrity and timeliness of all designs undertaken for tenders and projects within their scope of work
- Participate in design control and operability meetings as appropriate e.g., Design Reviews, Lessons Learned etc.
- Ensure compliance with Technip Quality and HSE policies and procedures.
- Familiarization with all contract documents and requirements.
- Understanding of basic project management concepts.
- Support the technical development of the less experience engineers within the rigid pipeline team.
- Support internal training and capacitation of less experience engineers within the rigid pipeline team.

You are meant for this job if:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Naval or Aeronautical).
- Master’s degree in Engineering (desired but not mandatory).
- Doctoral’s degree in Engineering (desired but not mandatory).
- Experience in the offshore Oil and Gas industry/ Subsea.
- General understanding of SURF infrastructure.
- General awareness of standards and regulations such as API and DNV. Ability to research and apply the required codes to given areas as needed.
- Experience undertaking the design and advanced structural analyses for engineering in general.
- Experience undertaking the design and analysis of subsea rigid pipelines (desired but not mandatory).
- Experience in FE analysis (desired ABAQUS, but not required) and FEM knowledge.
- Proven ability with MathCAD and programing language (i.e.: python and VBA).
- Previous knowledge with AutoCAD, SAGE 3D Profile (desired, not required), ABAQUS (desired but not required), PRCI AGA (desired but not required), DNV Fat FREE (desired but not required) and etc.
- Full command of the English Language.
