Job Purpose

Promoting TechnipFMC technologies and services through early involvement in the client's decision-making process, managing the technical execution of a study, proposal and/or project.

Job Description

  • Perform the systems engineering function of studies (Pre-FEED and FEED), Front-End proposals and/or projects in order to achieve the best cost-effective solutions and guarantee all HSE and environmental requirements of TechnipFMC and their clients.
  • Technically manage the leaders of equipment, coordinating and controlling engineering activities, being ultimately responsible for the integrity and solutions of the system, design, technical documentation, monitoring the manufacturing and installation of a entire project (or part of the project) to scheduled completion, in accordance with TechnipFMC's corporate policies, contractual commitments (design data, codes, etc.), engineering schedule and budget
  • Be the customer's technical focal point, seeking to understand their needs and values ​​on a case-by-case basis, guaranteeing their satisfaction
  • Provide technical sales support and product development support for TechnipFMC
  • Critically review the interfaces between technical disciplines and/or other project disciplines
  • Handle technical aspects of project change requests
  • Promote communication between the areas involved in the Project, including the client
  • Promote the management of Lessons Learned (technical area) of the studies/proposals/projects in which they worked and within the Front-End group itself
  • Disseminate good practices and continuous improvement of engineering processes and procedures

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Advanced problem solving & project management skills
  • Ability to think and act independently on very complex projects and issues
  • Ability to transfer knowledge and experience
  • Excellent command of English
  • Performs well in a fast-paced environment, constantly changing schedules and priorities, balancing external influences from customers, colleagues and schedules
  • Extended experience as Technical Leader of Subsea Equipment (X-Trees, Manifolds, Control Systems, etc)
  • Ability to move among sites.
