Fleet Operations Engineer - Mid-Level

Job Purpose
Responsible for operational support across onshore and offshore fronts, developing and applying technically grounded solutions to resolve operational and/or procedural issues. In doing so, continuously improving processes in pursuit of excellence in Safety, Quality, and performance, while staying within the budgeted expense limits for the fleet operating in Brazil.
Job Description
- Support the development of offshore teams in implementing excellence and continuous improvement programs across operational fronts, such as damage prevention, standardization, industrialization, among others;
- Prepare, review, and issue operational documents such as: standard procedures (SP), work instructions (WI), job safety analysis (JSA), operational checklists, animations, and technical drawings to standardize or support operations on PLSVs;
- Coordinate cross-functional activities between PLSVs and/or departments involving improvements or changes to operational documents (SP, WI, JSA, etc.);
- Assess the technical feasibility of executing non-conventional or unprecedented operations to be carried out by PLSVs. Examples include: CAS line loading, loading at Bardela pier (BANIT), CAS line deployment, stern recovery, among others;
- Critically analyze the operational performance of PLSVs, identifying potential issues, deviations and their root causes, and developing optimization proposals in pursuit of continuous process improvement;
- Support onshore leadership with operational or performance data that enables alignment with offshore teams, managerial decision-making, strategic direction adjustments, financial investment feasibility, among others;
- Support the development of accident/incident investigations, ensuring that the resulting action plan effectively addresses the identified root causes;
- Coordinate and assist teams in implementing necessary modifications to PLSVs, aiming at continuous process improvement, operational safety, damage prevention to products and equipment, whether owned or client-provided.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Knowledge and/or experience in project management
Professional registration required: Active CREA
Proficient in English
Experience and/or knowledge of operations on PLSV vessels.
Occasional offshore trips.
Hybrid Work Model:
Three days per week on-site and two days working from home.
Working Hours: Flexible business hours.
