Job Purpose

Participate in product development, support execution, and provide field assistance to meet the needs of internal and external customers within the Controls and Automation area to which the role belongs.

Job Description

  • Support in specifying equipment for electrical and optical control systems, as well as subsea distribution systems.
  • Create assembly and testing documentation for the aforementioned equipment.
  • Support in the creation, when necessary, of qualification documentation for the aforementioned equipment, as well as approval of the qualification.
  • Participate in Design Review meetings and implement comments related to the aforementioned equipment.
  • Monitor assembly and testing of subsea control equipment at the manufacturing facility and provide support for troubleshooting in the factory or offshore.
  • Support project follow-up during client meetings.
  • Support Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) related to the role’s scope of work and parallel groups when there are correlated disciplines.
  • Support planning, supply chain, project management, industrial engineering, and quality teams.
  • Follow-up of projects with subcontractors.
  • Review subcontractor documentation.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Control and Automation, or related fields.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of and interest in subsea control systems / subsea electrical and optical distribution systems.
  • Advanced English.
