Job Purpose

Executes procurement strategies for assigned components (goods and services) to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective products. Contributes to the management of strategic supplier relationships and actively participates in project mobilization to support successful execution.

Job Description

· Participate in defining procurement strategies and risk mitigation actions with sourcing and project procurement managers

· Execute strategic purchasing activities within defined timeframes and budgets

· Ensure all necessary information is available for issuing inquiries

· Expedite the receipt of vendor bids

· Conduct negotiations with vendors to secure optimal terms

· Prepare purchase order documents on time and ensure accuracy and quality

· Support quality notifications to execute return and/or recovery plans for deliverables at risk due to quality issues or delayed delivery

· Act as a technical expert in a specific purchasing domain, when required

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (projects, engineering, logistics, finance)

· Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation

· Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes

· Prioritize and manage a large spend scope to prevent disruptions at manufacturing plants and ensure fulfillment of project milestones and client expectations

· Manage internal escalations and proactively identify opportunities to mitigate risk

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent
  • Advanced/Fluent level of English
  • Have hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP system
  • Want to grow and learn through hands on critical and demanding scope
