Job Purpose

Executes procurement strategies for assigned components (goods / services), to ensure that quality, cost effective products are delivered in a timely manner

Job Description

  • Fulfills inquiring and purchasing activities within time and budget

  • Ensures all information necessary for issuing the inquiry is available

  • Checks purchasing conditions are applicable to the project and reports exceptions to the Project Procurement Manager

  • Expedites bids

  • Conducts negotiations with vendors

  • Prepares purchase order documents in due time and checks for quality

  • Contributes to recovery of amounts relevant to back‑charges already notified to vendors

  • Resolves commercial issues and manages purchase orders of high value and complexity

  • Communicates order status continuously with internal stakeholders and ensures accuracy of system data

  • Identifies synergies between multiple projects to achieve overall savings

  • Participates in mitigation processes with suppliers

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Fluent english
