Rental Tool Coordinator

Job Purpose
The Rental Tool Coordinator is mainly responsible for identifying all available tools in the Region, manages allocation of those tools to Project demands, manages planning and forecasting, searches for global supply for shortfalls, assists in the AFE process for new purchase and establishes monthly reports on forecast utilization and actual utilization. It coordinates the maintenance and logistics of the tools between bases for hand-off to the project.
Job Description
Ensure compliance with Business Process Management System (BPMS).
Manages the accuracy of the Rental Tools inventory database within SAP environment by ensuring RTC in conjunction with MMRS and Materials team accurately update status of every tool in the region.
Reviews the tool demand from Ops/Projects and allocates tools as required. Updates all stakeholders in the Project / Operations with current progress reports of fulfilling their rental tools demands.
Checks intercompany charging from Rental Tools Group to each Project WBS. Assists in the generation of AFE for justification of new tool(s) purchase.
Follows up on new tool delivery, updating stakeholders (unless purchased through the Project). Follows through on quality issues of new delivered product.
Ensures ETM is used to manage all regional assets for planning and forecasting. Assists to improve the Rental Tools operating model/process.
Facilitates the rental of tools from other global locations as required. Assist in audits to check/improve inventory accuracy. Suggests alternative tools where recommended tools are not available.
Reviews SN's, ECN and QN's on Rental assets and initiate follow up on each item in conjunction with the RTC and others involved in that process. Assess impact of SN's to schedule and communicates to internal/external customers as required.
Adheres to company HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) policy, rules & regulations. Creates Service Equipment List (SEL) for rental tools in storage maintenance and/or refurbishment. Provides recommendation for tools to be either disposed or placed in cold stack.
Develops tooling forecast and utilization report to management. Provides input to Tender and Business Development team on rental tools availability and current rates. Creates SEL for rental tools demobilization
You are meant for this job if:
Minimum 4 years of previous experience within a similar oilfield service company environment
Exposure to coordinating rental tools of a similar nature either in drilling or well services type activity
Sound computer skills including MS Office suite
Ability to understand the tools' basic function and understand associated FMC documentation
Understand basic finance processes
SAP skills and competencies for the required SAP transactions for this position
