SFT Project Engineer
Engineer in charge of providing technical and project management support to the Surface business on flexible applications such as drilling and refining within the Surface segment. The spectrum of topics covered is wide: PLM/NPD, sales support, project assistance, feasibility study, FEED, project execution and after-sales service.
Job Description
Role and responsibilities:
- PLM/NPD:
- Ensure that product development work is carried out in accordance with industry standards (API, DNV, ABS, …).
- Manage the budget, schedule, communication and steering meetings.
- Manage and control all required verification and validation tests.
- Manage, verify and maintain design documentation (design basis, technology description, simulations and calculations) and product reference.
- Commercial Support:
- Provide technical support services to internal and external customers.
- After-sales service:
- Support after-sales service teams during inspection exercises of our products
- Review inspection reports, if necessary.
- Keep inspection procedures up to date
- Ensure the certification level of technicians in charge of inspections.
- FEED & Project Execution:
- Conduct feasibility studies for specific projects
- Execute studies for calls for tender
- Execute a commercial project
You are meant for this job if:
• BS in Engineering or equivalent with 4 to 7 years of experience in engineering or related fields • 2 years of experience as project engineer as a minimum • Strong project management skills • Abllity to think and act independently on relatively complex projects and issues • Efficient problem-solving skills • Good command of English • Knowledge of conventional flexible pipe design, end fitting design and project management • Strong analytical and organizational skills, written and verbal communication • Ability to solve multiple problems for which there is no previous experience, creativity, open-mindedness, market and competitor technology, continuous improvement.
