Job Purpose

At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won’t find anywhere else. We are looking for a Regional Environmental Manager who can join our multicultural team in Paris.

 

  • Accountable for effective deployment, and implementation of the global environmental program, processes, and standards within the assigned region.
  • Support the global environmental team in developing the program, conduct initiatives in alignment with simplification, standardization, and industrialization (SSI) of the environmental program in the Company, and identify best management practices to improve environmental performance, with focus on the assigned region.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert and coach for the region/local resources to increase their competency in environmental and the company’s related programs.
  • Support the environmental pillar and related environmental key performance indicators analysis and assessment in the ESG journey within the region including the identification of initiatives that will support meeting the company’s commitments in this area.
  • Implement or coordinate the implementation of environmental related initiatives within the region.
  • Establish processes to ensure compliance with environmental legislation for all business units within the APAC region.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline.
  • 7 – 10+ years’ work experience; with preferred experience:
    • 7+ years HSE or environmental experience (ESG/sustainability, environmental risks assessments, environmental management system, environmental compliance).
    • 4+ years in supervisory/ management/ leadership experience.
  • Strong track record of delivering valuable business results (improvement in cost, lead time, quality, and operational efficiency).  Requires the ability to simplify complex problems and achieve effective results.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain strong network and relationships vertically and horizontally within the organization and with external contacts.
  • Ability to lead and influence organizational transformation leadership in a diverse, multi-cultural environment which requires effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Specialized knowledge in environmental pillar aspects within ESG and the application of HSE/Environmental Management Systems, but not limited to HSE/Environmental compliance and legal obligations, investigations, auditing and assessments, and legal reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 Management Systems.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
