Job Purpose

• Leads all cost control activities within a project, operational role

• Develops, updates and maintains project budget and forecasting

• Highlights areas of concerns and solutions to help achieve a successful and timely completion of Projects

Job Description

• Management of the project cost control team

• Support to Finance on hedging of foreign exchange rates risks

• Contribute to lessons learned through the project

• Supports the set up and maintenance of the project revenues and costs measurement systems and reporting data

• Estimates Total Forecasts, Quantity / Costs and Expected Outcomes • Approves commitment control and vendor/subcontractors invoice

• Highlights areas of concerns and solutions to the Project Managers to optimize and improve completion of projects, and budgets

• Prepares change orders / claims, and follows up

• Generates monthly internal Project Management Review (PMR) / external status reports (client reports)

• Develops statistical and close-out reports, with a view towards improving feedback data and estimation tools on future contracts / proposals

• Complies with and implements both company and client HSE Management System objectives and procedures, as well as Quality standards and policies, and other applicable company procedures

You are meant for this job if:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent

• 6 to 8 years of experience as a Cost Control Engineer or in other Project Control discipline

• Professional English

• Knowledge of cost control tools and methodologies

• Solid analytical and problem solving skills

• Establish good relationship and cooperation with colleagues in the project team
