Job Purpose

Part of the Survey discipline group in the subsea installation department, you will be affected to a project team and will be supervised by the Survey discipline lead.

The Survey engineer supervises the underwater surveys throughout the exploration and development phases of offshore projects towards its completion.

 

Job Description

Involved in:
- Tendering, engineering, operation and installation phases,
- Subcontractual and cost discussion, 
- Specific Project Engineering enquiry.

 

Responsible off:
- The verification of the provided Client Data prior to project execution ( Bathymetry, GIS...),
- Assessing the necessity of additional field investigation ( Pre engineering surveys , geotechnical surveys...),
- Responsible of the Survey Subcontractor selected for the project till close out, 
- The quality and precision of the surface and underwater positioning installed onboard the Vessels and the ROVs,
- The selection of adequate tools and techniques available throughout the market to support the offshore operations,
- The follow up and compilation off all the reporting involved in the installation phase towards the final as-built dossier issued at project Close Out

You will take part in the mobilization of the project offshore and in the follow up of the survey operations during the project.

You are meant for this job if:

Graduated with an Engineering degree, you have ideally a first experience in the Oil&Gas industry. You must be dynamic, open-minded and have a good team spirit. You like working in multicultural and challenging environments.

You speak fluently English and will be mobile worldwide when required to participate to onshore or offshore operations.

Your motivation rigor and your interest for new technologies will be your main assets to succeed in this role.

You are mobile for different assessment overseas and you are confident in contact of other culture and environment.
