We are looking for a Drafting/design engineer for our design office based in Courbevoie.

 

Job Description

Reporting directly to the head of the Engineering Department, you will be responsible, as project discipline leader, for all installation studies for subsea pipelines (flexible and rigid risers, umbilicals, jumpers) and associated subsea structures (FLET, PLET, Manifold, suction anchors, rigid spools). You will interface with other engineering disciplines, as well as project management, purchasing and operations, to complete the proposed installation studies. You coordinate a team of design draftsmen and report on your work.

 

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Implementing the specifications drawn up by the engineering team:
  • Definition of the various equipment and related installation sequences (drawings, CAD models, plans).
  • Carrying out pipe routing (mapping) and equipment positioning studies on the seabed.
  • Production of assembly and detail drawings for purchase and manufacture (permanent equipment or installation aids).
  • Finding innovative solutions to optimize installation methods and offshore operations,
  • Boat deck fittings and associated seafastening.
  • Preparation of data required for offshore operations: equipment lists, boat arrangements. 

 

As team leader, you will oversee all stages of the project concerning the activities of the design office, and in particular, internal subcontracting, planning, progress, documents and resources.

You are meant for this job if:

  • You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a good command of Autodesk tools such as Autocad, Inventor, Civil 3D, with experience of the Arcgis environment, managed in the Vault environment.
  • You have at least 10 years' significant experience in offshore Subsea engineering.
  • Your English is fluent.
  • You are mobile for short international trips for offshore operations.
