Job Purpose

Advise project managers on contract strategy and ensure contract management through the project lifecycle

Key interactions:

  • Internally: Project Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Insurance
  • Externally: Clients and Subcontractors/Suppliers

 

Job Description

  • Being overall responsible for day to day contract management and all contractual matters related to the contract with the customer, the contracts resource shall act as an advisor to all members of the project team on the commercial and contractual issues
  • Ensure that proper contract compliance and contract administration is maintained on the project
  • Ensure that contracts and commercial risks are identified, properly evaluated and mitigated.
  • Drive the variation process to ensure TechnipFMC get the commercial benefit of all opportunities and entitlements under the contract. Overall has responsibility for all contractual and commercial issues related to management of variation orders, including management of variation order logs and systems.
  • Cooperate with sourcing/procurement and act as contractual advisor/expert in relation to all contract, legal, commercial and insurance issues related to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Assist in preparation of project reports.
  • Preparation of contractual/commercial input for internal and external reporting.
  • General contract work and project contract support.

You are meant for this job if:

- University level education - 5+ years' experience in the related field - Profound conceptual understanding and mastery of contract management - Good understanding of project management - Proven first line management skills - Strong communication and influence skills
