Job Purpose

Responsible for carrying out the maintenance plan activities for the launch system equipment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and structures in the areas of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems, ensuring maximum availability, reliability, and utilization.

Job Description

  • Execute activities from Work Orders and record electrical anomalies in the maintenance system.
  • Perform inspections on electrical components and systems of the launch equipment to ensure integrity and operability.
  • Identify electrical defects in equipment and support troubleshooting.
  • Record daily electrical technical data in specific reports.
  • Propose electrical improvements, modifications, and upgrades to systems and equipment.
  • Carry out Preventive Maintenance checklists with emphasis on electrical systems.
  • Interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and manufacturers’ manuals to understand equipment operation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the electrical work area.
  • Follow electrical safety standards, as well as quality and environmental procedures.
  • Keep electrical technical and operational documentation updated (manuals, checklists, spreadsheets).

You are meant for this job if:

  • Completed technical diploma in Electroelectronics, Electrical, Automation and/or Mechanical.
  • Experience with electrical systems in launch systems (VLS, tensioners, carousel).
  • Operate the tower without assistance from the operator;
  • Request, monitor, and support the analysis of predictive reports (vibration analysis, oil analysis, and thermography);
  • Create drawings and sketches of parts for maintenance activities;
  • Perform Specific Risk Analysis;
  • Monitor and support third-party contractors.
  • Active CFT (Technical Training Certificate) registration.
