Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring effective maintenance and safe operating conditions of all launch system equipment.

Acts as a technical specialist in electrical and mechanical/hydraulic disciplines, leading, supervising, and training multidisciplinary teams, including launch system technicians and tower technical operators.

Must be able to operate line‑launching equipment, interpret alarms, and follow launching procedures and supplier manuals to effectively guide tower technical operators during operations.

Job Description

  • Evaluation of the conditions for carrying out maintenance activities, such as weather conditions, human and material resources, tools, equipment availability, and task distribution (Work Orders) among the technicians;
  • Supervise and ensure compliance with the preventive and corrective maintenance program planned for TFMC’s launch system equipment, coordinating the Launch System Technicians (LST) from different disciplines (electrical, mechanical/hydraulic, etc.) and Tower Technical Operators;
  • Supervise the implementation of actions recommended from audits, Client requests, Regulatory Authorities, or TFMC management;
  • Train new LSTs in field activities and vessel‑specific situations;
  • Manage the technical team, motivating and developing them in their activities, while monitoring both the professional and personal performance of the team;
  • Monitor and audit the inventory of spare parts, consumables, tools, and equipment, ensuring it remains accurate and organized, and suggesting improvements, as well as the inclusion or removal of items;
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed in the Maintenance Management System;
  • Ensure that drawings and manuals reflect their actual, up‑to‑date condition;
  • Suggest adjustments to maintenance plans (updating and planning tasks/materials);

You are meant for this job if:

  • Completed technical degree in: Electrical, Electrotechnics, Mechanical, Hydraulics e/ou Electromechanics.
  • Experience in the field, with people management
  • Intermediate English.
