Job Purpose

We are looking for a Launch System Supervisor to support our offshore operations, ensuring the reliability, availability, and safe operation of launch system equipment while leading multidisciplinary maintenance and operations teams.

Job Description

  • Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of hydraulic systems and launch equipment onboard.
  • Lead and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities on hydraulic, mechanical, and associated equipment within the launch system.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic system failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to maximize equipment reliability and vessel uptime.
  • Coordinate and support inspections, repairs, upgrades, and modifications of hydraulic circuits, valves, pumps, actuators, accumulators, and related components.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to Launch System Technicians (LSTs) and Tower Technical Operators during maintenance and operational activities.
  • Work closely with PLC Engineers and multidisciplinary teams to diagnose equipment issues and implement effective technical solutions.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are performed in compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor spare parts, consumables, and critical hydraulic components inventory, ensuring availability to support operations.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, technical documentation, and equipment history within the Maintenance Management System.

You are meant for this job if:

Education
  • Technical Degree in Electrical, Electrotechnical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Electromechanical disciplines.

Certifications

  • Active CFT registration.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Experience with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic maintenance systems.
  • Experience leading technical teams and coordinating maintenance activities.
  • Knowledge of failure analysis, operational safety, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Pipelay operations and subsea line launch systems.
  • Offshore experience.
  • Familiarity with Maintenance Management Systems.
