Job Purpose

Hiring a Quality Manger for Odessa, TX that will manage all quality matters in the Odessa Supercenter!  The Quality Manager will promote a positive quality culture proactively developing working relationships collaborating, interacting, and influencing colleagues through day-to-day guidance on quality related matters.

Job Description

  • Monitor compliance within the service base and Odessa, TX office, to global, local, regulatory standards and customer requirements.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching and support to the QA team collectively and individually, and monitor the QA performance of the specific site.
  • Manage the QMS in site. Foster API Q2 requirements and help in implementation, if required.
  • Promote continual improvement that result in improved safety, quality, cost, utilizing appropriate tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, Root Cause Analysis, 5S, and VSMs
  • Act as Management representative in case of an external certification is required.
  • Co-ordinate the Risk Management Process, lead assessments for the quality function and support/ facilitate the local management team to conduct regular assessment sessions with the designated departments and projects.
  • Support the local management team with regards to Management of Change (MOC) process, general facilitation, and guidance, and responsible for quality department MOC’s.
  • Support the Commercial Team review to ITT’s and contracts including development of Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans and Service Plans
  • Facilitate local Management Review, Internal, Supplier and Field Service Non-Conformance (FNCR) investigation and follow up of CAPA’s.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Quality or Engineering, desired
  • Demonstrable work experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control
  • Knowledgeable in ISO 9001, API Q2, industry standards
  • Experience in Quality Auditing
  • Management or supervisory experience in either/both QA and QC
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, repair, refurbishment of wellhead and associated equipment
  • Certifications:  Lead Auditor – ISO 9001, API Q2
  • Root Cause Analysis and problem solving e.g. Fishbone, 5 Why’s, 8D, Ishikawa
  • ERP knowledge (SAP), Intelex
  • FNCR App
  • LEAN/Six Sigma Management Skills
