Job Description

Successfully completes all assigned training requirements and applies acquired knowledge in daily activities. - Must hold required safety certifications, including but not limited to: Driver’s License, Rig Pass, WellCap, H2S, respirator fit test, forklift operation, crane and rigging handling.
- Ensures all customer‑required documentation is in order before boarding any transportation to the service or installation site
- Performs rotation, on‑call duties, or shift work on weekends and holidays. Depending on the work plan, may be required to remain on 24‑hour call, respond within established timeframes, and adapt to a flexible work schedule.
- Ensures that all equipment, service tools, and spare parts are on site and ready for use by performing inventories and function checks before each job. Properly documents all inventory transactions and maintains organized storage areas. Responsible for the correct use of operational supplies and follows all company guidelines for inventory control.
- Performs assembly, testing, and greasing of TechnipFMC wellhead and tree equipment to meet customer service requirements in accordance with drawings, DBI, procedures and applicable technical specifications.
- Installs, tests, maintains, and certifies TechnipFMC tools and equipment to meet customer service requirements in accordance with drawings, DBI, procedures, and applicable technical specifications. Operates under mandatory procedures required for onshore well operations. Executes and leads activities such as:
• Field valve greasing and testing
• Internal and external cold cutting of pipe
• Flange tightening using pneumatic or hydraulic torque tools
• Installation of “H” type BPV and TWCV using PBMO lubricator
• Installation of VR plugs using horizontal lubricator
• Installation of IS A type BPV and TTP using hydraulic lubricator
• Maintenance of equipment and tools according to TechnipFMC operating procedures, including preventive and corrective maintenance of manual, hydraulic, and pneumatic tools in the field and workshop - Assists in reviewing instructions and/or procedures for product testing, functionality checks, and in some cases, installation procedures.
- Completes service certifications (Service Tickets) according to the activities performed and obtains the required signatures for authorization.

Location: Odessa (Permian)
You are meant for this job if:
- Minimum of 12 consecutive months of experience as a TechnipFMC Field Service Technician Level III or former Level IV technician with less than six months of separation from TechnipFMC.
- Proven experience with wellhead installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service operations, while maintaining compliance with TechnipFMC's quality, safety, and operational standards.
- Advanced knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Drilling and Workover rigs, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical equipment and tools, structural steel, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Ability to use the technical tools and instruments required to perform job functions effectively.
- Blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Intermediate knowledge of ISO 9001 and API Q1 standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat) and Outlook for email communication.
- Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations, understand and use technical tools and instruments, and solve basic operational problems.
- Field diagnosis and troubleshooting of technical failures, including equipment reconditioning.
