Job Purpose
Now Hiring for the Odessa base location! Come join our team! The FNCR Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination, and management of Service based Field Non-Conformance Reports (FNCR) process, from creation to closure for Surface West.
Job Description
- Oversees all FNCR’s that are put into the system.
- Arranging and coordinating fortnightly Field Event Review Board meetings (FERB) (standard & special).
- Determines next steps in the process regarding actions for investigation and parties that need to be involved (including Purchasing, Sales, Supplier Quality, Warehouse, Production, QA Inspection).
- Perform interviews to personnel involved to gather information on each FNCR.
- Monitor FNCRs in all West, to make sure they are being completed timely. GPS-10-0020
- Maintain a strong link with Problem Management Team (PMT) for critical failures.
- Create, coordinate, and follow up Quality Notifications (QN) related to FNCRs, with our manufacturing facilities.
- In charge of conducting less strict root cause investigations (RCA), to solve less significant and complex quality events with criticality <64.
- Assist the Quality Manager with the more complex RCAs.
- Conducts meetings with relevant stakeholders to determine root cause analysis, corrective actions/preventative actions, and measurement of effectiveness.
You are meant for this job if:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technologies, Quality, or other related technical degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of quality, field service and/or manufacturing experience.
- Root cause analysis (RCA) (5 why’s, cause effect, fishbone, or Ishikawa diagrams).
- Bilingual English/Spanish - preferred
- Ability to trouble shoot with high level of problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to interpret and understand drawings, DBI’s, bills of material BOMs, Engineering specifications and material standards.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities is important.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, PC systems, and MS Excel.
- Good organization, discipline, and planning skills. Must be able to make decisions and push actions throughout all departments.
- Continuous Improvement philosophy – Lean knowledge – preferred.
- Power BI – highly desired
