Job Purpose

The main function for the REMS Senior Planner is to setup, analyze and report on APAC-scope Tender & Execution Primavera schedules. To this end, the Senior Planner is required to coordinate with different product functions (Engineering, Procurement & Delivery Teams) to ensure quality and timely planning deliverables. This position is also responsible for designing, optimizing and maintaining systems and processes to improve overall planning. As a senior, it is expected that the planner can leverage on experience & communicate well to provide guidance, supervision, and feedback to other planners, as well as stakeholders.

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Setup & Analyze Tender Primavera Schedules for APAC deliverables.
  • Setup, Analyze and Report on Execution Project Schedules for APAC deliverables.
  • Coordinate schedule creation & integration of various regional schedules for APAC awarded projects.
  • Work closely with PMMs / Delivery Managers to ensure on-time delivery of their products and making each project/delivery successful.
  • Seek any opportunity to simplify, optimize and maintain Scheduling systems & processes.
  • Provide guidance, supervision and feedback to other planners and stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Produce, Develop and Refine Planning Reports to engage and assist local Delivery Teams in strategic analysis and decisions. 
  • Contribute to, Implement and adhere to any policies or procedures defined and released by Global Scheduling Governance Team.

Execution

  • Work with various stakeholders (Engineering, Procurement, Delivery Teams, Project Teams, Tendering) to setup and prepare REMS Quotation & Backlog Execution Primavera Schedules in a good and timely manner. 
  • Maintain good collaboration with Subsea Projects Team to improve information flow and cohesiveness.

Building Capabilities

  • Develop, Implement, Troubleshoot & Optimize workflow, processes & procedures revolving around planning tools to improve data quality and efficiency.
  • Educate, Guide, Supervise and Grow other planners, as well as stakeholders.

Safety

  • Responsible for system-related housekeeping and enhancement/upgrade testing for planning tools.

You are meant for this job if:

Minimum 5-8 years of work experience in Project Scheduling and/or Project Management with a BS or BA preferably in Information Technology or Process Engineering.
Expertise in Project Scheduling & Resource Analysis using Primavera
Able to demonstrate knowledge of Project Management & Control, including Critical Path Analysis.
Strong interpersonal, communication, co-ordination, meeting facilitation and presentation skills required.
Must demonstrate leadership capabilities and conflict resolution skills in resolving issues.
Computer Systems experience includes strong PC skills, preferably with Excel and/or other reporting tools.
Will be an advantage -Experience in SAP Material Resource Planning (MRP) Module and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Familiar with Subsea Equipment and possesses Oilfield equipment manufacturing knowledge including machining, welding, assembly and MRB processes.

Desired Qualifications:
Experience in Oil & Gas / Manufacturing Industry is preferred.
