Job Purpose
Executes Procurement, in accordance with Category scope in accordance with safety, quality, delivery, cost and compliance requirements.
Job Description
- Fulfills inquiring and purchasing activities within time and budget
- Makes sure all the information necessary for issuing the inquiry is provided
- Check the purchasing conditions are applicable to the project and if not, report to the Procurement Manager/ Category Lead.
- Ensures bidding process is completed to meet project requirements
- Prepares and issues the compliant purchase order documents suitable for purpose
- Ensure receipt of supplier documentation according to commercial agreement
- Close out QN’s/ECN’s relevant for purchasing
- Communicate appropriate level and quality of detail of order status with internal stakeholders,
- Primarily through relevant reporting platform and ensure accuracy of system data.
- Capable of resolving commercial issues and management of complex, high value purchase orders of high value and complexity
- Identify and implement synergies between projects to maximize value creation gain overall savings
- Take part of Identify execution risks and apply mitigation activities towards scope.
You are meant for this job if:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years in purchasing, preferably in the oil & gas industry
- SAP experience.
- Proficiency in Excel
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Negotiation skills
