This role is responsible for managing full product execution for specific product(s) within our HR technology landscape that are aligned to a specific focus area, such as Talent, Compensation & Benefits, CoreHR, Learning, and Recruiting, based on business needs. This role manages multiple project teams and coordinates with multiple stakeholders providing thought leadership and expertise within the HR technology landscape domain

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Owner to lead our Global Time & Attendance solutions, with strong knowledge of integrations, system architecture, and end-to-end time system implementations. This role will be responsible for defining the product vision, driving global design standards, and ensuring that time solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with upstream and downstream processes like Core HR, Payroll, Finance, and workforce planning.
The ideal candidate has deep domain expertise in Time & Labor Management, a solid grasp of HR/payroll data flows, and a track record of leading complex, multi-country implementations.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Product Strategy & Ownership
•    Define and own the global product vision and roadmap for Time & Attendance solutions in alignment with HR, payroll, and business objectives.
•    Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, implementation teams, and third-party vendors.

 

Implementation & System Design
•    Lead or co-lead end-to-end implementations of time solutions (e.g., WorkForce Software) across multiple regions.
•    Drive global standardization of time capture processes (e.g., scheduling, clocking, approvals, absences, reporting) while allowing for localized compliance needs.
•    Ensure time systems are architected to handle complex organizational structures, time rules, labor policies, and integrations.
•    Collaborate with architects to design scalable, secure, simplified, and compliant system landscapes.

 

Data Flow & Payroll Integration
•    Understand and document inbound and outbound data flows between time systems, Core HR, and payroll platforms.
•    Ensure accurate, timely, and auditable data exchange to support pay accuracy, compliance, and downstream reporting.
•    Partner with payroll, audit, and compliance teams to support legal, regulatory, and union-driven requirements.

 

Project Management & Change Leadership
•    Lead global time system deployment projects, managing timelines, milestones, resources, and risks across cross-functional teams.
•    Partner with local teams to identify opportunities and guide them to process automation, while creating standardized, streamlined and industrialized solutions.
•    Champion change management efforts by driving user adoption, enabling training, and ensuring smooth transitions from legacy processes to modern, integrated solutions.

 

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
•    Engage with regional HR, Global Mobility, Finance, Operations, and Compliance leaders to gather feedback and prioritize feature development.
•    Govern internal enhancements, integrations, and localization requests to balance global consistency and regional requirements.
•    Maintain vendor relationships and participate in platform roadmap discussions and testing of new features/releases, and maintenance upgrades.

You are meant for this job if:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•    10+ years of experience in HR technology with at least 5 years specifically in Time & Attendance systems.
•    Familiarity with project management and change management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, SAFe,, Prosci or Waterfall) and tools (JIRA, ADO, etc.)
•    Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong relationships at all levels and across functions within a regional and global organization 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to translate business language into IT/Systems language
•    Abilty to influence others and responsive, fast-paced decision-making skills with the ability to drive business results.
•    Experience with process standardization and optimization across multiple countries 
•    Strong functional understanding of payroll processes and how time data drives pay calculations.
•    Demonstrated experience leading global time system implementations in large, matrixed organizations.
•    Proficiency in system architecture and integration frameworks across HCM, Time, and Payroll platforms.
•    Excellent understanding of data flow logic, especially between HR, Time, Payroll and Project systems.
•    Strong knowledge of change management, training, and communication strategies 
•    Strong attention to detail, to identify gaps or potential issues with requirements documents and proposed design.
•    Ability to understand the needs of different stakeholders and communicate with them appropriately.
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global, dynamic environment. Must be able to operate with limited direction.
•    Demonstrate integrity and maintain confidentiality.

 


Nice to have: 

•    Agile product owner experience, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus. 
•    Experience integrating Time solutions with SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or other core HCM platforms 
•    Able to speak/read/write Multi-Languages (e.g., French, Portuguese)
