Job Purpose

This role leads the offshore HRIS delivery hub within a globally governed, product -based operating model. The positions is accountable for operational excellence, resource management, and execution quality across HR technology platforms aligned to Global Product owners. The role ensures disciplined delivery, adherence to global standards and design authority, and scalable support of the enterprise HR Technology Roadmap while driving efficiency, standardization, and cost optimization.
Job Description
The Assistant General Manager HRIS serves as the operational right hand to the Global HRIS Director, ensuring seamless execution, governance, and stability of all HRIS-related services delivered through Global Business Services (GBS). The primary responsibility of the position is to partner with various stakeholders such as Shared Service, IDS, Finance and COE’s. The Manager will be responsible for managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our People systems in collaboration with the PLT, COEs, IT partners and various stakeholders. Lead governance and optimization of Global HR systems, including project management of planned enhancements to achieve our business and goals. The incumbent ensures service continuity, process standardization, SLA adherence, stakeholder alignment, and cost efficiency while supporting the broader HR Technology roadmap
This position acts as the central orchestration point between HRIS product owners, HR Shared Services, IT, Payroll vendors, and regional HR teams.
Main Responsibilities
Lead offshore HRIS delivery hub within a globally governed product operating model, ensuring execution excellence aligned to global stanards, priorities, and design authority defined by global product owners.
Delivery & Operational Excellence
• Lead day-to-day offshore HRIS operations across all aligned product areas.
• Ensure offshore team members execute priorities, backlogs, and initiatives defined by respective Global Product Owners.
• Monitor SLA performance, ticket quality, defect resolution, and backlog health.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of repeatable processes transitioned offshore.
• Establish disciplined intake, documentation, and knowledge management practices.
• Escalated cross-product or priority conflicts to HRIS leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.
Workforce Planning & Capacity Management
• Partner with Global Product Owners to align resource capacity with roadmap demand.
• Balance workload across offshore team members while maintaining product alignment.
• Identify skill gaps and develop cross-training strategies.
• Support scalable growth of offshore HRIS capability aligned with enterprise transformation objectives.
People Leadership & Talent Development
• Provide direct people leadership, coaching, and performance management for offshore HRIS team members.
• Co-define performance objectives with respective Global Product Owners to ensure alignment to global product outcomes.
• Drive capability building across SuccessFactors, ServiceNow HRSD, integrations and similar HR Tech stack
• Foster a culture of accountability, documentation, and structured problem-solving.
Transformation & Cost Optimization
• Support the strategic consolidation and regionalization of HRIS activities into the offshore hub.
• Drive measurable efficiency gains aligned to HRIS run-rate cost reduction targets.
• Ensure transition plans are structured, documented, and governed.
• Maintain operational stability during transformation phases.
You are meant for this job if:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in People systems, with at least 8 years in a management or leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience operating within a global matrixed organization.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders across regions and product domains
• Deep functional and operational experience with SAP Successfactors is essential.
• Experience managing offshore or shared services teams
• Skilled at synthesizing data, organizing, and presenting all results effectively, and providing valuable insight.
• Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage ambiguity well and change course when needed.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global, dynamic environment. Must be able to operate with limited direction.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong relationships at all levels and across functions within a regional and global organization
