Job Purpose

As Warehouse & Logistics supervisor you supervise and organize the comprehensive service of the warehousing & logistics activities for the base. The Warehouse & Logistics supervisor is role where active support of the operational process is required.

Relationship Responsibilities

  • You will report to the Base Manager Nieuw-Amsterdam
  • The warehouse and logistics staff will report to you (Material Controller, Material Handler)
  • You co-operate fully with TechnipFMC colleagues within the base, but also within the region. Main relationships:
    • Service project management
    • Sales
    • Asset coordination
    • Purchasing
    • Finance
    • Workshop

 

  • You will have external working relationships with mainly:
    • Customers (Pressure Control)
    • Transporters
    • Forwarders

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the vocal point of the warehouse and logistics department to the organization
  • Leads Inventory Counts and Inventory Control activities
  • Responsibility for warehouse & logistics personnel, planning and operations
  • Defines the objectives, targets and action plans for the warehouse and logistics department
  • Guide your reports and participate in daily operations
  • Participate in projects relating to Impact Quality, business excellence and future core business initiatives
  • Maintain and monitor housekeeping standards in your department
  • Manage Super User of SAP transactions for warehouse and logistics operations
  • Monitor performance of the warehouse and logistics processes
  • Follow and monitor all health and safety procedures and manual handling compliance in your department
  • Define the needs and requirements  to perform the warehouse and logistics operations
  • Make requisitions for the needs and requirements of the warehouse and logistics operations
  • Goods receiving (GR) of goods, services and subcontracting
  • Goods issuing (GI) of materials to service orders or outbound deliveries
  • Processing of transport requests to our transporters/forwarders, prepare documents for transport
  • Processing of export docs, in case of an export outside the EU
  • Processing of inventory reports out of the ERP systems
  • Manage and organize optimization MRP (reorder point, replenishment point etc.) settings
  • Maximize the use of storage space and racking, inventory and material handling equipment within the warehouse, shipping, and receiving areas of the facility
  • Report and resolve discrepancies promptly when found to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Perform basic QC functions such as assigning traceability numbers to incoming material, washing materials for testing and reviewing incoming paperwork for quality and completeness
     

Requirements

Minimum qualification requirements:

  • Secondary level education
  • Minimal 5 years’ relevant warehouse experience (preferred)
  • Experience in industry preferably
  • Excellent PC skills (Office 365)
  • ERP knowledge (SAP preferably)
  • Good communication and organizational skills

  • SAP
  • Office 365
  • Warehousing training
