Job Description
- Carry out reactive, planned, preventative & predictive maintenance on site equipment.
- Record and communicate maintenance information via written, electronic or verbal means.
- Responsible to ensure electrical guidelines (IEE regulations) are adhered to using established HSE procedures.
- Support other departments including the identification and correction of machinery faults such as electrical equipment, mechanical faults, PLC’s, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Involvement in commissioning and installation projects.
- Suggests and takes ownership of continuous improvement activities to achieve results.
- Review maintenance activities, suggesting necessary corrective actions as required.
You are meant for this job if:
- A time served maintenance technician
- 17th Edition IEE regulations - desirable
- HNC in engineering - desirable
- NEBOSH or IOSH - desirable
- PLC experience (various PLC’s mainly Allen Bradley)
- Mechanical engineering/maintenance experience
- Several years’ experience of maintenance within an engineering environment
